If you are not familiar with Synesthesia, then I can basically describe it as when more than one of your senses are involved. For example: some people see numbers as different colors, some can taste certain words, some can see every word they hear (such as myself). There are many more types of Synesthesia.

Many people do not realize that although we all have different learning styles, we also have different views of experiencing our every day world.
Ten years ago, my sister was watching 20/20 or Primetime News and saw a story that immediately made her think of me. The story was about people whose senses seem to be blended: people who taste color, see certain numbers in color, “see” words they say, etc.
Finally, I now had a name for my “different texture of reality”… Synesthesia.
